Celtic Heritage Unit
The goals of the Celtic Heritage Unit include: to provide a working group of members to organize events for promotion of Celtic Heritage; provide the St. Andrew’s Society of Central Illinois membership access to information about Celtic history, genealogy and the language arts; manage fundraising activities to self-sustain the unit’s activities and provide for targeted needs of the St. Andrew’s Society of Central Illinois.
The Manager will organize occasional social gatherings or other events to build the unit members, promote Saint Andrew’s Society of Central Illinois activities and encourage the participation in the other units as well.The Manager will also maintain a schedule of events and circulate announcements to encourage volunteering within the Saint Andrew’s Society of Central Illinois and the units.

The unit will often duplicate activities of the other units only because of necessity. This unit is not intended to take the place of any unit or standing committee activities. The unit will maintain a strict adherence to the by-laws and a good working relationship with the other units.
